Transportation services are still operational during the current global pandemic caused by COVID-19. Our patient care remains a daily priority by providing the highest quality non-emergency medical transport services. Utilizing UV light based cleaning and a reputable disinfecting system, our vehicles are cleaned between each client to kill any potential bacteria or viruses. Our trained drivers will utilize protective gear as suggested by the CDC such as: face shields, PPE, disposable gowns when necessary, face masks and gloves while in contact with individuals. Ridesharing is strictly prohibited during this time of COVID-19 to keep you and your loved ones safe from the novel virus.
COVID-19
The following cleaning guidelines suggested by the CDC will be followed: At a minimum, clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in the vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift and between transporting passengers who are visibly sick. Ensure that cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed consistently and correctly, including the provision of adequate ventilation when chemicals are in use. Doors and windows should remain open when cleaning the vehicle. When cleaning and disinfecting, individuals should wear disposable gloves compatible with the products being used as well as any other PPE required according to the product manufacturer’s instructions. Use of a disposable gown is also recommended, if available.
Our professional drivers are trained to maintain clean vehicles that are inspected for safety regulations. We utilize a negative pressure, purification system in order to avoid cross-contamination. Notably, we diligently take patient temperature prior to loading to screen for COVID-19 symptoms.
